Josh Abbott Band Serenades Tulsa on Valentine’s Day
If you’re trying to figure out what to do on Valentine’s Day, you can never fail with taking your date dancing, and DJ Moody will be lighting up the Enso dance floor all night on Saturday! If you’re looking for something extra to do beforehand, you may also want to head up the road to Cain’s Ballroom, where Josh Abbott Band will be playing live.
The Josh Abbott Band hails from Texas and started in 2006. The band recorded their first demo in 2007 and began touring the next year. The six-member band includes Josh Abbott on vocals and guitar, Preston Wait on fiddle and guitar, James Hertless on bass guitar, Caleb Keeter on guitar, Austin Davis on banjo, and Eddie Villanueva on drums. In 2009, they released their first album called “Scapegoat,” and in 2010, they released their second album, “She’s Like Texas.” The album became a regional hit, and in 2012, the band released their third album, “Small Town Family Dream.” Some of their best known songs are “Oh, Tonight,” “I’ll Sing About Mine,” and “Touch.”
