Arms For Arts: An Art Awareness in Tulsa
Come to Elote Café this Friday, August 1, for a fun night of arm wrestling competitions benefiting Tulsa Art Spot. Arms for Arts is an art awareness event designed to educate people on what’s going on in the Tulsa art scene in a fun and low-key environment. The event itself is being hosted by Tulsa Art Spot, and it is the first of its kind.
Arm wrestlers of all levels can compete for match titles, but professional wrestlers are not allowed to compete. There is a match fee of $20 per arm. Match types include: Right Arm: Light Weight, Right Arm: Heavy Weight, Left Arm: Light Weight, and Left Arm: Heavy Weight. The event itself is free and open to the public, and children are allowed to stay until 11pm
The Arms for Arts matches start at 9pm. Elote’s weekly karaoke night will also still be happening to add an extra element of fun and entertainment to the evening. There will be great food, great drinks, and a nacho bar. Elote is located in Tulsa’s downtown Deco District at 514 S. Boston.
