Woodland Hills Mall Soon to Include Texas de Brazil Steak House
A new steak house is coming to town! According to Texas de Brazil’s website, the company plans to open a Tulsa restaurant at Woodland Hills Mall at 71st & Memorial. The exact date of the opening could not be confirmed by the restaurant or mall; however, the Dallas-based chain’s website stated that the Tulsa location will be opened in 2014.
The company’s history began in Porto Alegre, Brazil. One of the owners decided to bring a piece of their Brazilian culture to the United States and chose to settle in Texas, where they could combine their country’s dishes with the hospitality for which the state is famous. And, thus, the restaurant’s name emerged. The company is currently family owned and has streak houses throughout the world.
The restaurant is famous for its 50-60 seasonal side items, including gourmet vegetables, appetizers, and soups. The chefs create scrumptious servings of beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and Brazilian sausage complemented with traditional side dishes and house-baked Brazilian cheese bread. The meat is cooked over charcoal, not gas, to improve the flavor of the dishes. Aside from the restaurant’s excellent food selections, they also have in-house wine connoisseurs who will help you pair the best wine with your chosen dish. Customers can also try the Caipirinha, the famous Brazilian drink that is Texas de Brazil’s house cocktail.
The company chose Woodland Hills Mall due to the fact that it sits amid the most popular and centrally-located dining and shopping area in Tulsa. The mall has 165 stores and is surrounded by hundreds more stores and restaurants in the immediate area.
