Sixth Annual I AM Yoga, Art + Music Festival This Weekend
Yoga is a popular form of relaxation and exercise due to its many benefits. Those who practice Yoga experience better muscle strength, improved body balance and flexibility, greater mental clarity, and even weight loss. With continued practice, Yoga also aid in injury protection, balanced metabolism, and enhanced energy.
This weekend, the 6th Annual I AM Yoga, Art + Music Festival will be celebrated in Downtown Tulsa. The two-day celebration will be packed with yoga sessions for both adults and kids, and there will also be presentations by yoga experts.
There will be many other activities happening in addition to traditional outdoor yoga sessions. Enjoy sound bathing with beautiful and relaxing sounds from peace inducing instruments like gongs and crystals. Or, soak in meditation during regular 15-minute meditation sessions.
There will also be a Kid’s Zone, where children are given the chance to enjoy the festival while also learning more about the essence of yoga. There will be yoga classes for children and teens with a superhero theme.
Several presenters will share their expertise in the field of yoga throughout the two-day event. Presenters include Lisa Bracken, Ana Berry, Mandy Eubanks, Keri Edwardes, Christine Hoagland, Amy Hamilton, Dana Morris, Tracy Miller, Stephen Saunders, Nicole Peltier, Alyson Atma Simms, Chrispy Bhagat Singh, Narayani Swenning, Holly Hill RDN, LD, CNSC, and Celeste McNeal Wood.
The I AM Yoga, Art + Music Festival this Saturday and Sunday, September 17th and 18th, at Veterans Park. Live music, local artisans and marketplace vendors, and food trucks will also be present.
