Using Essential Oils at Home

Essential oils are plant-based products that are friendly to your body, your pets, and the environment, so they can be used in many ways without causing harm. Here are some examples of how you can use essential oils at home:
- All purpose cleaner in the kitchen – Several drops of essential oils mixed with distilled water and white vinegar can create a natural cleaner for your kitchen. Use the solution to clean counters and other parts of the kitchen.
- Air freshener in the bathroom – Replace your artificial air freshener with something natural like lavender or pine. Add essential oils to potpourri or a diffuser, and your bathroom with always smell fresh.
- Cabinet deodorizer – Add a few drops of essential oils to a cotton ball and place it inside your cabinets and drawers. This will keep everything smelling fresh and nice, including your clothes!
- Fabric freshener – Instead of buying fabric freshener, use essential oils. A few drops of the oil on an absorbent tissue or towel can help add a pleasant smell to your clothes inside the dryer. This can also save you a lot of money by not having to buy expensive bottles of laundry products.

- Mold killer – Eliminate mold immediately with tea tree oils. Spray a solution of water and tea tree oil on the affected area and leave it to dry.
