New Tulsa Concept Plans to Assist Future Food Startups
A new concept in the food industry is opening its doors to Tulsans who are looking to make their food dreams come to life. Kitchen 66 is a kitchen program designed to help food startups prepare before they launch the field.
The Kickstarter Kitchen is a special concept that offers a kitchen venue for people to experiment with their food ideas in order to craft their perfect menus. It allows them to experiment in a fully-equipped and well prepared kitchen, so they can work in an environment similar to what they will be working in once they open their establishments. The whole idea is to encourage people to pursue their food business dreams.
The kitchen is open to anyone who is interested, including existing food companies. The kitchen will be spacious and in compliance with state health codes. Participants will also be offered coaching on how to market their products.
Kitchen 66 will be located in the basement of the Sun Building. As of now, there are 15 people who have applied to the program, and more are encouraged to apply. Training will begin in 2016.
