Tulsa Performing Arts Center Presents Into the Woods Musical
Witness a spectacular show that will take you back to your childhood and some of the old fairy tale characters you knew and loved. Tulsa Performing Arts Center is presenting Into the Woods, a fascinating musical about Stephen Sondheim performed by Sand Springs Community Theatre.
Focusing on the intertwined lives of several famous fairy tale characters, Into the Woods is a story of different people who are wishing for something that their hearts desire, while encountering troubles and difficulties along the way.
A childless baker and his wife want a child and work their way towards having one. A witch desires to be released from a curse and return to her old self. Cinderella wants to go to the ball. Jack wants to follow his instincts and bring back his cow. Little Red Riding Hood wants to bring food to her grandma. All of their stories intertwine in a fun and different take on these classic stories.
You can see for yourself this weekend at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center! Into the Woods will be playing from June 25 to 28. The shows start at 7pm June 25-7, with additional matinee shows at 2pm June 27-28.
