Tulsa Run to Fill the Streets
The much-awaited running event for competitive runners and fun run enthusiasts alike will soon be filling the streets of Tulsa again. The Annual Tulsa Run will be happening this coming Saturday in the downtown area, and everyone is invited to attend.
There will be different racing events throughout the day. Participants can choose from a 5K run to a 15K run. There will also be a 2K fun run for leisurely runners, plus a 15K race for speed walkers. In addition, there will also be 5K and 15K wheelchair races.
The Tulsa Run has been a city tradition since 1978. Thousands of runners join the event every year, which continues to gain momentum and excitement.
Participating runners line up at the start of the race at 6th & Boulder Avenue, and scoring will end at 12nn. Streets will reopen at noon after the 5K and 15K run. There will be food and drinks at the event area, as well as live music and a fun celebration.
The Tulsa Run 2016 will be this Saturday, October 29. Runners will need to pick up their info and running packets at the Runner’s Expo at the Cox Business Center on Thursday, 4pm to 8pm, or Friday, 8am to 8pm.
