Tulsa Opens Doors to Returning Water Slides
Get ready to slip and slide this summer in Tulsa! Slide the City is a fun family event where everyone gets to slip and slide through the city. The famous Slide the City will be bringing all its tubes and slides out this Saturday to give Tulsa a one-of-a-kind summer experience.
There will be three slides set up on Main Street in Downtown Tulsa. Registration is required because wave times are scheduled so everyone can slide without waiting too long. If you are not yet registered for the slider options, this is the last call for registration.
Wave times will be from 12pm-2pm, 2pm-4pm and 4pm-7pm. Participants will receive a mouth guard, a tube, and a drawstring bag. Safety precautions will be in place, and the slides are padded.
Participants can register to go on all three slides or only one. They can also buy an Ultimate Slider pass, which gives them the chance to slide as long as they want between 9am-12pm, or the All Day Slider, which gives them access to an entire day of sliding. Costs vary depending on the type of slide option you choose.
Aside from the water slides, a block party will be held with music, food, drinks, and entertainment. Slide the City will be happening all day this Saturday, June 18, at 1630 S Main Street.
