University of Tulsa College of Law Presents 21st Annual Chilifest Cookoff
The University of Tulsa College of Law is hosting its annual chili festival this weekend! If you’re a chili-lover or simply looking for something fun to do, you won’t want to miss it.
The 21st Annual Chilifest Cookoff, hosted by the Student Bar Association, will feature 30 teams competing for the bragging rights of having the best chili in town. Open to all TU alumni, faculty, staff, and students, as well as all law firms, Chilifest is more than just a competition. It’s a fun night full of networking, reconnecting with old friends, and enjoying some delicious food.
Interested teams must register to participate. The entry fee is $100 for alumni and law firms, $75 for faculty and staff, and $50 for students. Teams can include up to five people. Registration includes 10 drink tickets.
For those not competing, you can just come and sample all the different chilis. The cookoff is this Friday, January 5, at 6pm at the Stokely Event Center. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students, faculty, and staff. Children below 12 years old are free.
Proceeds will benefit the Student Bar Association, with some going toward the organization’s activities and some being used to subsidize the annual Barrister’s Ball.
