Veterans Benefit Event to Offer Assistance to Tulsa-Area Veterans
Soldiers risk their lives to protect our country. Their actions keep Americans safe against other nations, but their experiences can be very traumatic and result in lingering effects for soldiers. Many veterans are in need of special assistance and education about the benefits and services they can utilize.
In order to help veterans with their needs, a Veterans Benefit Event will be held this coming Saturday in Tulsa. The event will give veterans the chance to ask questions about their VA claims and enrollment. They will also be assisted in preparing their claims. Veterans will need to bring along their DD 214 or WD 53-55 forms for verification.
Part of the event will also be the opportunity to meet with officers and representatives of various programs and organizations that help veterans. Both Jason McClellan, Director of the VA regional office in Muskogee, and Acting Director, Richard Crockett, will be present.
The Special Veterans Benefit Event will be held from 10am to 4pm at the American Legion Post.
