Tulsa Celebrates Art and Music at Annual International Mayfest
This weekend, Downtown Tulsa will be abuzz with art and music because it’s time for the annual Tulsa International Mayfest and Blue Dome Arts Festival! The festivals are held every year to celebrate music and art within the community. Mayfest is a five-day event filled with art exhibits, food, musical performances, and artist vendor booths.
The event will feature both outdoor and indoor attractions. Outdoor booth and exhibits will feature handmade goods from local and regional artists. The indoor exhibit will feature the Invitational Gallery, which showcases a wide range of art from some of Tulsa’s top artists, including oil, photography, and sculpture. There will also be a Youth Art Gallery and a Wild About Art Gallery.
Live entertainment will happen throughout the weekend, and there will be over 100 dancers and musicians! There will be three different stages: Williams Green stage, Bartlett Square stage and the 4th and Boston stage.
Mayfest will begin on Wednesday, May 13th, with the grand opening of the Mayfest Invitational. The outdoor event starts on Thursday, May 14th, and lasts through Sunday, May 17. The festival lasts from 11am to 11pm on Thursday through Saturday, and 11am to 6pm on Sunday.
