Tulsa Botanic Garden Celebrates Day in the Garden on May 9
This coming Saturday, the Tulsa Botanic Garden will be hosting a special event call Day in the Garden to celebrate its beauty and raise awareness of its recently-added two-acre garden. The new garden is the Children’s Discovery Garden, and it offers a special place for kids to learn more about plants and flowers and find new areas to explore.
During Day in the Garden, families will have the chance to participate in fun activities, including a game of Lawn Twister and face painting. There will also be pony rides and special craft activities, perfect for a special gift for Mother’s Day. In addition, there will be special musical performances from Paul Benjamin Band and Klonkide5. Families are encouraged to enjoy a picnic in the garden all day.
Day in the Garden will be held at the Tulsa Botanic Garden this coming Saturday, May 9. Admission is $50 for one adult, $75 for two adults, and free for kids with the purchase of an adult ticket.
