The Tulsa Bethlehem Walk
Do you want to experience a wonderful recreation of the nativity of baby Jesus? Come and experience a one-of-a-kind event in Tulsa, Oklahoma at 2525 S. Garnett. The Tulsa Bethlehem Walk is a guided walk outdoors sponsored by the Christ View Christian Church that is not to be missed!
The amazing cast is made of 150 to 200 members with realistic sets and costumes along with live donkeys, camels and sheep that is sure to astound all viewers. There will also be a realistic and breathtaking outdoor display. The path will be guided with colorful lights for convenience and safety.
To add to the theatrics, the participants that walk through will be counted on the census. They also play the part of acting as the people traveling to Bethlehem to pay their taxes. Roman soldiers will be encountered as well as beggars and lepers, making this great event more realistic and interactive. Each participant will have their tax documents stamped before entering Bethlehem. Bethlehem is alive with activity that there are various shopkeepers as well as dancers to welcome every single participant and guest. There is even a host of heavenly angels along the road to Bethlehem which is a sight to behold!
Before the walk starts, there will be an exciting musical to enjoy. Free refreshments are even offered after the walk. You can make reservations ahead of time in order to beat the crowds. This event is totally free; just make sure you’ve made reservations.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the day of nativity Thursday, December 4th starting at 6:30 and running until 8:30 in the evening; this event will be operational until December 7th.
