Trisha Yearwood in Concert at Cain’s Ballroom
If you were a country fan in the ’90s, then you’re undoubtedly familiar with Trisha Yearwood’s music. Yearwood has been a long-standing icon in the country music industry, and her fans are in luck because she will be playing at Cain’s Ballroom this coming Friday, June 27.
Yearwood’s first major album, “She’s in Love with the Boy,” debuted in 1991, which is what made her famous and produced her first #1 single. She later released and popularized more songs, including “Thinkin’ About You,” “I Would’ve Loved You Anyway,” and “How Do I Live” for the movie Con Air in 1997. She won a Grammy Award and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2000.
Aside from singing, Yearwood has also pursued different ventures in recent years. She released her first cookbook called “Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen, ” which she co-wrote with her mother and sister. In addition, she received her own TV show on the Food Network called “Trisha’s Southern Kitchen.” Portions of Friday’s concert will be filmed for an upcoming episode of that show.
Doors open at 7:00pm, and the concert begins at 8:00pm.
